Where can I turn if I need help in college?
Everybody can use a little help finding his or her way through life. Plotting your path to college and career success is no different. Having an adult mentor in your corner is a great way to stay on track and help you overcome any obstacles along the way. Mentors can be anyone you look up to — neighbors, employers, relatives, religious leaders, coaches or teachers. Professors keep office hours, in case you end up struggling with some of your coursework. Don’t forget to keep in touch with friends and family at home. Sometimes a phone call can help you de-stress, and they may offer up some advice from another perspective.
