It’s time to kick your college planning in to high gear. There are steps you should be taking during each year of high school to prepare yourself for the big decisions up ahead. Colleges will be looking for well-rounded students, so find your place and get involved! Whether it’s athletics, theater or student council. And remember — your cumulative high school GPA that colleges consider for admission starts during your freshman year. It’s easier to maintain a high GPA than to bring up a low one, so start strong!
